About Higher Education Commission Jobs 2023:
An independent organisation that oversees higher education in Pakistan is called the Higher Education Commission. Established in 1974 as the University Grants Commission, it underwent a reformation in 2002 to become the HEC.
The major responsibilities of the Higher Education Commission include establishing policy, monitoring quality, and ensuring that international standards are upheld throughout the degree programmes. These topics also cover international funding, scholarships, and other financial initiatives.
